Stevens Square Campus Vision

Stevens Square is guided by the principles of smart growth development which includes optimizing existing infrastructure and historic building restoration, and providing access to trails and neighborhood amenities. While Stevens Square is a community unto itself, it is part of the fabric of the greater community. It is part of the heart of Deering Center.

The Stevens Square Campus will be built in phases, eventually consisting of five separate condominium buildings with shared amenities. Interspersed between and around the Stevens Square condominiums residents will experience ample green gathering spaces including a community common, community gardens, a historic reflection garden, fire pits and patios. The former school on site has been turned into a Health and Wellness center, café, auditorium and gymnasium for all to enjoy. The 19-acre campus blends historic architecture with new buildings and on-site gathering spaces with easy access to vibrant Deering Center, one of Portland’s best neighborhood.

We can create the physical structure to encourage community, but it’s truly the people who live here who create the culture. We always listen to our customers and homeowners. Especially with amenities, activities, fitness, and so much more that resonates with them. But they are the ones that organize activities and make the lifestyle happen. We can build a nice foundation, but it’s the people that make it work.
